    is there a pattern for the hunters star block that is not paper or foundation pieced?

    I haven't found one. But I just measured it out on my own and am hopeing for the best. doing okay so far. will post pics of what I have so far.

    there are nine blocks I am making, four different triangle fabrics.

    Deb Tucker's original Hunter's Star is not paper pieced. You can get the pattern at your LQS. Look here: http://cart.studio180design.net/Deb_...erns-list.aspx

    They really are very easy and they are beautiful. I love that you can make them in 2, 3 or 4 colors.

    I am doing it right now with Deb Tuckers pattern and ruler. It's not difficult at all, and no PP or foundation.

    BTW-I'm not doing it in 2,3 or 4 colors...I have about 45 colors. Mostly blue,green,beige batiks. I'll post a picture when I'm done.
