Is there a pattern out there for regular piecing-no templates?

    Thanks, Karen

quilters cache has a paper pieced but there was one gal on here who cut the pattern apart and used it for templates, I'm working on a paper pieced one now.

Yes, there is a way to make Hunter's Star with strip piecing. Go to baysidequilting.com, or this link:

    https://www.baysidequilting.com/store/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=449]https://www.baysidequilting.com/stor...idCategory=449[/url]

Don't know why it won't link, but there is a video that shows how to do it.

This book has a way to make it with four patches and HSTs:

I have the book, but I haven't tried it yet. I also have (hanging my head) a special ruler just for this block, but I haven't tried it yet, either. I love the block, but it's a little intimidating!

I made it without templates. The pattern is designed by Jackie Robinson. Her website is www.animas.com and she has some wonderful patterns.
