In the beginning I would hear --""So let me get this strait YOU buy perfectly good fabric, cut it into little pieces and then sew it back together-WHY--I thought this was the stupidest question I'd ever heard especially since his mother is a quilter Well after seeing how the 2500 pc puzzle of several fabrics turned out he was amazed and he proudly showed off my quilts to every visitor to our home and never complained at the purchases of fabrics he ''seen'' come into the house and even designed a few patterns for me to make and even went fabric shopping with me.What a turn about he made

My dh doesn't say much other than, I shouldn't need anything else at the fabric stores because I got it all in my sewing room. Just last week as I was sewing the binding on a BOM quilt (I call it something else :( ), I said to him" I think I might give this quilt to Emily". He was quick in responding, No, not this one, you give them all away and you put so much time in this one, we should keep it! That made me happy!

My husband passed away 3 years ago but he fully supported my quilting and just about anything else I did so from some one that knows, love those precious husbands as much as you can because when you loose them it's very hard to get over.
