    Default Husqvarna Viking 360 Prelude

    Hi There ....

I don't post a lot, but need to. LOL. :-)

I'm back to sewing a lot again. What FUN.

I sew on a Viking Designer 1. Love it, but it's too bulky for me to take to classes.
I've been looking for something smaller ... good quality but not too expensive.
    Found the Viking 360 Prelude.
Hoping I'll be happy with it.
Haven't actually seen ... won it on eBay.

My local sewing center told me that it's a good machine & not to pay more than $200 for it.
    I didn't.
Seller says it's been used 5 times, comes with the manual & accessories that it came with,
    including the cover.

Wondering if anyone here has it.
What can you tell me about this machine?
I strictly bought it for portability, but of course I want it to work well for me.
I also hoped to find a Viking, thinking that my feet from the Designer 1 should be interchangeable.

I tried to review online as much as possible but there isn't much out there.
Can you tell me if this machine cuts the thread, or if I have to do that.
I'm also not sure if it has the start/stop button.

    Thanks so much.

I do have a beige Featherweight, 1961 ... my birth year.
    Appears to be gently used.
I've only used it a couple of times & prefer a newer machine.
Might be selling it for a FAIR price.
By no means will I be selling cheap ... to give away.
You can let me know if you're interested & what you'd be willing to pay.

I wish I had a featherweight, no way would I be selling it. I have 2 newer machines, both Vikings both in need of repair, again. I have gone back to sewing on vintage singers 201 and 401, both are workhorses, never give trouble, sew better that the new ones. The only feature I miss is auto cut, but to me that is just cause I'm lazy. I may never go new again.
