You have probably already thought of this but I would ask the seller the usual buyer questions in person while looking at the machine. You know like "why are you selling your machine."

Hope it works out for you and you get a great bargain.

That machine sells for $9000 at my local quilt shop and the same price at a dealer just 30 miles from my house. I sure would be cautious about this machine. It is too good to be true.

These ads target greed and wanting something for nothing. Don't fall for it!!
That is wild, same machine, same price. The poster said call me but I did not see a phone number to do so. I wonder if they are after email addresses? Some people will go to great lengths not to get a ligit job.

IT HAS TO BE A SCAM

Same machine and exact description on KC Craig's list too. DO NOT CONTACT THIS SELLER.

Maybe they have some story for not meeting in person and getting you to mail payment. Maybe they arrange to meet you with cash and beat you up ( or worse) to get it. Pizza delivery drivers and cab drivers have been robbed, beaten, and killed for far less than $1750.

I have never heard of a Diamond at such a low price.

try it out. find out if there is still a warrenty on it and where it was purchased. If everything checks out, buy it, you got a good deal!

Be careful; a friend was scammed on a Sapphire, bought online at a suspiciously low price, which turned out to be stolen.

This one may be a scam, based on the other postings, but I did get a genuine steal on a Pfaff CV from someone who had lost her job and needed the money to move (I found that out after the fact), so real bargains are out there.

I'd be concerned about the legitimacy of that deal, but IF it is REAL, the Diamond is an incredible machine. I bought one the end of August and have been sewing up a storm.

The accessories (feet, hoops, etc.) and software are definitely expensive, but now that I have it, I couldn't live without my Diamond.
