Default Husqvarna Viking Lily 550 Question

Can anyone give me the throat size for the Husqvarna Viking Lily 550? I am not able to find it no matter where I look.

    Thanks!!

Lily, iris and rose are often grouped together -- I think the difference is mostly in stitch and embroidery capabilities. I have an iris and it's seven inches from center needle to the housing (whatever it is called) on the right. I have quilted up to twin size with this machine but currently it is my go to piecer. It just purrs along.

I have the 540 and I just measured it at 7" as well. My manual includes both the 540 and 550 so I will have a quick flip through it to see if this is even mentioned in it.

My machine is 20 years old, if you are considering buying a 550, it is probably about the same age.

I was going to welcome you to the board but see you have been a member for awhile....

I also have the Lily 540 that is 20 years old, and I have probably sewn a million miles on it. The throat is 7 inches but I have quilted queen quilts on it. It is a great machine and I hope it lasts forever.
