I am taking a class from David Taylor on this machine and is methods in Portland in Oct. at the Machine Quilting Expo. Figure I should find out more about machine quilting before taking the plunge.

How do you like your Sweet Sixteen - I'm thinking of getting a sit down machine really soon and would like to hear from current users... Thanks

Congrats on your new acquisition - that's exciting! We are moving in the near future and I will be having one too - shall look forward to seeing your set-up.

I just took a 4 hour class from David Taylor who wins prizes with his art quilts done on this machine. It was a great class and you should look around to see where he is teaching this year. We did free motion and then followed patterns in fabric. So easy to use and maintenance free. Some issues with thread breakage but that can be the needle or the type of thread.
