    Default I am actually stippling.

I practiced on paper for about a month. I just jumped in on my Mothers quilt I am quilting and had trouble. I changed the needle and thread and tension (upper) and put the BSR on and started to stipple and it looks good. I am so pleased, I quit for the night and just left it all on the table and will turn machine back on and continue. You have no idea how happy I am.

That's terrific. I love it when I learn a new technique and I think stippling always looks great on a quilt.

That's wonderful! Now you can have fun finishing your own quilts. I am learning to FMQ, and it just clicked one day after millions of practice drawing sheets and practice sandwiches. I still don't stipple, but I can quilt some designs like the paisley pretty good. I love quilting as much as piecing now.
