this is killing me. It is nap time right now and I want to be sewing or cutting fabric for my sons quilt or this other quilt I am working on. but no fabric to cut sew or play with right now. it is really frustrating. how do you ladies do it? keep your sanity and patients? I just can't seem to relax till I can get the fabric in the house to work on the quilts, especially when I am in the middle of working on them.

Why don't you have any fabric?

Are you waiting to buy fabric to replace the one that was bleeding so badly?
Are you not at home right now?

You must have some scraps. Make Yo yo's. You can make a yo yo clown for your son.

I have fabric that I was going to use for the center Medallion of his quilt but it is too close to this other fabric in color that is next to it. So I was hopeing to use this fabric my mom gave to me but it is bleeding non stop it seems and I don't want to use it or really go back to the original fabric I was going to use. So now will have to go out and get some more, but I have to wait because my kids are taking their naps. I don't know how to make yo-yo's either. I would start on the next step of my sons quilt but I need to get the dimensions of the center medallion for his quilt before I can start making the side panels for it. the medallion is a mariners compass the side panels are going to be a variation of the hunters star pattern and the corner "stone" blocks are the seaside compass pattern that I have made. I am one fabric short for his quilt now. which is really frustrating to me. will be getting the kids up early so I can go and get the fabric and then head to my moms so that we can get ready for our garage sale tomorrow and Saturday.

this is the hunters star pattern that I am going to use but have to make sure that I get it the right size so that it wont look goofy,

What you have done so far is really exceptional and I can see why you want your fabric to finish up with them. They are real nice!!
