I'm a member and I'm in Canada - I recently got a longarm and I find the videos for QNN pretty invaluable for learning. Plus, I get to watch fons & porter and Eleanor burns whenever I want. They sent a little box of thread and coupons and such, as well. The Jo-Ann's 10% off is relatively useless if you're not in the US, though.

I got the membership because I couldn't find the magazine Easy Quilts ANYWHERE. Since then, I've found that Barnes and Noble Bookstore carry's the magazine. There's a long list of places online that have a discount associated with 'belonging' to Quilters Club of America. Having access to pattern, QNN, Eleanor Burns, Alex Anderson are just a few of the available shows with the membership. I've only been a member since last November, but not sure if I'll renew or not.

QNNTV is the site for the videos. Used to be free till Fons and Porter bought it, then started charging 24 dollars a year. Dont know if you can get it separate from quilters club anymore.
It is worth the cost for beginners but you will need plenty of time for watching cause they have lots of videos.
