{Does anyone know of any other fictional books about quilters}Yes!! There are many...I really loved the 3 of this series called "A Queeen Bees Quilt Mystery" the first title is 'Murders on Elderberry Road' by Sally Goldenbaum. Just really makes you wish you lived near by to quilt with this group:)) There's an older book, not series called the "Persian Pickle" that was cute too. I just read 2 of the 'benni harper mystery' series...by Earlene Fowler....I love to hear of more too!! Skeat

I have a few other Authors I enjoy and they talk a little about quilting the stories are Amish which I find interesting the Author is Wanda Brunstetter and the other author is Beverly Lewis...there books are'nt like Jennifer's in the way hers are more centered around the quilting...but they are good little summer reads that are uplifting...

Thanks to everyone who wrote in with names of authors who write about quilters. I will check them out at my local library and let you know how they were. Wait, when do I think I'm going to get the time to read anyhow? Summer delusions, I guess.

I read the first one, and I liked it. I read the second one and thought so little of it, I couldn't read another.

I was trying to remeber and I finally came up with the name I was thinking of - Monica Ferris. She writes mysteries about Betsy, a craft shop owner. This website has many mystery titles about hobbyists - very easy and enjoyable summer reading!

I picked up the Elm Creek Quilt Album a couple months ago. It was on sale at my favourite bookstore. I haven't read it yet. I am only about 50 pages from finishing another book series right now. I can't read more than one book at a time. I might start that one next.
If I like it, and something tells me I will just from hearing all of your rave about her work, I will have to find more of her books!

Another author to check out is Emilie Richards. Endless Chain, Wedding Ring, Lover's Knot. I really enjoyed them. She also has a series called "Ministry is Murder" (her real life husband is a minister, and the character in the books is the wife of a minister) which I also enjoy. Nothing heavy, just enjoyable reading.

:-o I have read all of the Benni Harper Series by Earlene Fowler & am waiting to see if another one will come out. I have started the Elm Creek series over again because the few I had before not only weren't all but their was some missing from list of order of those I had. Hope that makes sense, I just finished Circle of Quilter's last night and found The Sugar Camp....is next then the Christmas Quilt. I thought I had them in order on the shelf, but foundout I was wrong. I have tried to register on the Elm Creek website but always get error messages and so I haven't succeeded in registering, yet. Bummer :(
