You are all so right. I am very lucky to have such a great stash and I also know I will buy more fabric. I just need more hours in the day to quilt and then maybe some of what I have will "come out". I am also lucky to have a daughter who also quilts so I know that my stash will not be wasted in years to come.

Absolutely no shame in having a lot if you are using it, having fun while you make things, and being generous with the end results.

But aren't you missing that just right piece that will complete the next project?? And you'll need to get thread too, so you can't avoid looking at fabric forever.

I know just what you are saying. I love spending time getting reacquainted with my fabric.

Squirrels store nuts, big silos store grain, banks store money, and quilters store fabric. End of story.

I have a huge assortment of fantastic "scraps", and want to use them up before they are out-dated with color and style. All I buy is something to piece them all together with. It's pretty unusual for me to give in and buy something just because it's too good to pass up. So hang in there girl, we'll gloat in our stash!
