You are too much of a perfectionist. There are people out there that are not perfectionist and so forgiving. Maybe they would just like the quilt colors and design doesn't matter. Forgive yourself.

It's just a little humility that I am sure would be appreciated by your church friends ;)

Don't beat yourself up, the machine quilter could have caught it as well.

Oh, dear. You have my sympathy and condolences. We haven't seen a picture of it - so it may not be all that bad.

Sometimes we get so close to something, we just don't "see" it well anymore.

ROFL, I once cut two left sleeves. Fabric was eyelash. I never made that blouse.

Like I tell my students - mistakes are what make the projects we do uniquely our own. I admit, I still agonize over some mistakes I've made but you can bet the recipient never has! I bet it's beautiful!

Hugs! Now stop being so hard on yourself. What would you say if someone else made the same mistake? Would you be so hard on them?? NO
So go get yourself something good to drink, put your feet up, close your eyes, and listen to some soothing music.

We're not looking for perfection. This is just a variation to add more appeal.

Don't worry. I've learned (mainly from this board) that others really do not notice our "mistakes". It will be loved.
