I've got two REALLY big projects on the go. One half quilted the other waiting for sashing and I can't decide how to finish either. I could start another but that seems counter productive.
It's too cold yet (here in Ontario)to garden , half the gravel on my drive ended up in my perennial bed, a rabbit ate all my Quince to the ground, my house is a mess and I just want to go back to bed.
Having a bad day.... oh and gas goes up 30 cent a liter tomorrow.

Sorry {{hugs}}. I tend to get stuck on a project (like an orca quilt for my kids) and let it simmer (or rot) until I get unstuck.

sounds like you have 4 choices:
    1. Post some pictures for ideas - great brainstormers on board
    2. Go rabbit hunting
    3. Put on some 'rock & roll' & give that vacuum a whirl
    4. Go back to bed.

    Me... I'd choose #4

I agree but would add one thought ... Add a good dose of chocolate to any of the above.

MaryKatherine, go for a walk. Let your mind wander and clear. Once you're home it may be easier to decide what you want to do. Do you live close to theolder houses on the hill by the river? Or by the older houses on Grange? Look at them, see if they inspire you. You live in a beautiful city, let it help clear your mind.

Well well! you must be a former Guelphite!
Yeah I know. This time of year is so frustrating.
But I've decided to take my big quilt off the frame and put it aside for awhile. I've spent three weeks ripping out ten minutes of heavy LAQ, terrified I'd destroyed the material but its okay. I need a break from this one.
    Thanks for your thoughts.
