I belonged to a quilting group several years ago. This group taught me much of what I know today about quilting, We met twice a month. We didn't have any officers or agendas -- just sat around a table, worked on our individual projects (getting help when we needed it)and talked about everything under the sun. After awhile we all became friends, attending quilt shows together and driving to good but distant quilt shops. We all learned from each other and it was a great experience.

Nope have not gotten a quilt group together just yet.
we had some things come up so I was thinking of having an informal meeting this month to get things started and start regular meeting next month.

I am going to put a sign up sheet on the bulletin board for those wanting to join to sign up. That way I have an idea of who is interested

why don't you set up a display of quilts to show them what they can learn to make!
