We played with that thing at the June Tailor booth at Quilt Market this spring. It was pretty cool and was a lot of fun, but we said the same thing -- "who would pay that much for one of these things?"

I like my gadgets, but it is has to be useful and reasonable price, then I ask myself,"will I use it, do I need it"? I did buy a gadget today that was kinda pricey, but I think I like it! I am going to make a post on it later!

    (the pintastic, a pin dispenser)

This would be something I could use.. (makes note on Christmas list)... I am always poking my fingers when trying to grab a pin. I don't use the pin cushion I made...it sucks.

Do you have favorite gadgets you like to use?
you won't like it...the pins get jammed up...waste of $$

It looks pretty cool, but where do you put pins back? Do you open it and put them all in at once? I would have them all over the floor if that's the case, and since DH is the one who "finds" them for me, I would be constantly in the dog house, LOL!

I thought I wanted the Pintastic when it first came out. I talked about it non-stop. Then I came to my senses and realized it really isn't something that I needed and I would probably use it for a while and then it would go into the unused gadget cabinet. My friend just gave me one as a gift last month and I actually returned it. (with my friends blessing!)

oh I am not buying it, was just saying I like gadgets. (it appealed to my gadget liking side of me)
I too would have to get new pins, and besides I do not have the money for this. If I did I would rather buy fabric :)

Fun though to see stuff like this, and to hear about the views of other folks.
