    You are a trooper!

I would have tossed the whole thing and bought new table toppers in her colors and used a die machine to make the cuts. I won't get stressed unless it's a have to time and never ever will over a quilt.

A labor of love. It will be beautiful when you're finished. One seam at a time. Good luck.

Glad you got it figured Out.

Changing dimensions of a block can get tricky.

So happy you found a dress (and shoes!). That's the toughest part! Now that you've got that done you can focus on the quilt. Glad you figured it out!

I hate shopping for clothing also and if I can get it out of the way at first shop, I just pay the bill and get outta there. whole different story when it comes to fabric.

So after going with my daughter shopping for a nephew's wedding (where I also told her she might get the quilt on her 2nd anniversary!), I plopped in the recliner, with a glass of wine, and started ripping. I'm sure glad I heavy starched the fabric so it's not losing shape! So as of now, I have 100 un-sewn---only 300 left to go! Promise to post pictures once I get the top together.

One positive today--I found a great dress for the wedding, plus shoes--both on sale and at the first store we went to--which for someone who hates to shop (except for fabric)this felt like a huge victory!!

Makes me glad I bought a John Flynn laser cut kit. And I'm registered for his class at the Houston International Quilt Festival in October. If I make the class, I'll get all his tips and tricks, then get to make the kit I bought at last year's Festival.
