I had not idea they were closing. It appears you did very well. My favorite quilt shop closed last week and I did stay away. There is so much fabric in this house I keep saying not to bring anymore in unless I can say specifically how it will be used.

This is why I do my best to stay away from all fabric stores. I don't have a place to put anymore fabric! Right now I am getting ready to go through my stash and do my annual stash bash. The thought that there is no more space after my last bing in the summer. (penny a yard I got 140 yds of fabric for $1.40) I still have nowhere to put it all. You haul is spectacular! Even though I only buy what I must now I can still turn green with envy. Or at least be thrilled for you.

I went when one of the local shops was closing. But the owner was planning the leftovers with her to sell online, so the lowest she went was 40% off. I’d say you did wisely to buy blenders and neutrals if you need them. It takes a good sale or a serious need to motivate me to buy “boring” neutrals in the midst of a sea of brights. Also, I am a little jealous that your hubby would initiate a trip to a fabric store. LOL. i would stick a thermometer in my hub’s mouth if he ever said those words
