    OK, here's the plan. Everyone on this board who would seriously consider the purchase of a longer armed simple mechanical Bernina, send an e-mail to Berninausa.com. Maybe an outcry from the masses is all that is required to get the Bernina's design department putting in a few extra hours making our dream a reality. :0)

    I was already a loving and devoted member of the Bernina family. LOVE Bernina machines, but this one melts my heart extra much. Every machine I'll purchase from now on will be a Bernie....except for garage sale finds. I just can't pass up any sad dirty lost little machine in need of some TLC.
