I agree with Zhillslady that Gremlins live in our fabric room. Sometimes they invade my car, my bedroom and kitchen too. Doggone little buggers. Things usually reappear, so good luck. I know the feeling of frustration.

DH is Catholic so I know about St. Anthony. I have asked St. Anthony so many times to find things for me, I think I'm on his back burner by now. Still haven't found them but I got busy sewing a UFO and got over the urge to start the new quilt. They will turn up somewhere sometime and I hope I remember they were lost when I do see them again. LOL

That happened to me looked all over for a small bag of fabric I bought. I seen the bag but for some stupid reason it didnt dawn on me that it was right in front of me, call me blind or stupid or both, but I finally looked in the bag so my search was over. I hate it when that happens.

I get Hubby "Eagle Eye" to find it for me. It gets hard when he never saw it in the first place and I have to describe what I'm looking for, lol!

I purchased fabric for a wall hanging. When I got home I put fabric and pattern in my sewing room, in plain sight. I went in the next morning to start cutting and sewing and the darn stuff was not in sight anywhere. That was two weeks ago and I still haven't found them. Can anyone say ghost?

Maybe it didn't make it to the sewing room after all! Still in the car? Did you combine the package with another? Look on top of the washer. Could be your looking for the wrong color package. Of course you'll remember where you put it or it'll show up. Let us know when you find it and where it was!

Ditto.. and when I do finally see it (right in front of my face) I want to just kick myself!

Well, all I can say is that they are in a safe place and been there - done that. I do this all the time, and especially when I'm trying to organize my sewing place I lose a lot of things in that new "easy to find" spot I picked out. See - safe place.
