Boy! you're braver than I was. My room was as big a mess, but I only posted after it was cleaned. You're doing really great, keep it up...it just takes awhile! Did everyone watch Peter Walch organize the quilter tonight? I told my hubby to NEVER gripe about my mess! At least I keep it to my rooms. But when all was said & done...he could actually come to my house anytime, if he would build all those built-ins & have my room as organized as her garage was. And the fact that the donations were going to another chapter of the quilts of valor, that helped alot!

These are boards the size of comic books that you can buy at a COmic Store. YOu get 150 for 9.99 and they are acid free. I take the fabric and fold it in half lengthwise and then put the board on it and roll it until it's all on there. I leave the boards in and put them on a shelf. You can stand them up to look like little fabric books too. Cheaper than buying the quilting ones.

finally an honest quilter! I see all these perfect sewing rooms in mags. & I wonder if they ever make anything. I can clean up the sewing room but the next day it's messed up again. Just not a place for everything. The rest of my house is neat. My hubby says it's OK because I use it and make beautiful quilt tops. I even heard him telling a friends husband to get over it because his wife really sews too.

Stay with it Debbie - things are really looking up. You will be finished before you know it. Just hang in there. So glad to see progress from the pics. You will be so proud when it is finished. Go! Go! Go! I'm proud of what you've done so far. I would help if I lived closer, but I think I am completely across the state, so will just have to root for you here.
