    SO, 3 WsIP because now I know that it is ok. And I will get all of them done

    Yes I am a UFOaholic as well. In fact I pulled out a UFO last week and said What Was I Thinking! My then finished top is now unfinished again. I had hand appliqued hexagon flower wreaths and a vine border with smaller hexagon flowers in 1930's fabric and a dark green vine and leaves not 1930's fabric. I would not be happy with that quilt so a ton of unsewing later I am searching my stash for the perfect fabric to finish this quilt. I am happy to say the 9 center blocks are 15" so I am working on larger pieces. I will post a photo when it is redone. But that is what can happen if you leave the UFO's to long. Have a Happy Day!

LOL Would you mind to tell me what UFO AND WOF (used in one of my patterns) means? I hate being new! LOL

    UFO = Unfinished Object
    WOF = Width of Fabric

    I am one of those, one project at a time people. thinks its some form of OCD or something! I have been trying to convience myself for years to have 2 quilts going at the same time. I really don't like piecing but LOVE the hand quilting. If I could just make it to where I am working on the next quilt while at the same time still having the previous quilt to sit and stitch on, my world would be complete!

    Sarah, you're a girl after my own heart. I do know what UFO and LOL mean (lots of laughs) but what on earth is DD, D9P, and all the other acronyms?

    having been a multitasker all my life i am surprised to learn that most people are a one project at a time quilter. not me - the more i have going, the better i like it.

    so - do what is most comfortable for you and don't give a thought to what others think is best.

    D9P--Disappearing nine patch. It's a quilt pattern. Not really sure what DD is...

    Talking with some of the other newbies, i have a suggestion. Would someone be willing to make a list of all the acronyms so we can understand what you all are saying? I would be willing to do this if everyone would like to send me the "shortcuts" they use.

    Sometimes I get bored with what I am working on and like to have another project to work on.
