What a great way to get a new machine and someone to go fabric shopping with. But, be careful that his stash doesn't get larger that yours.

That's great!! My DH asked me to teach him to quilt about 3 years ago, and we have been happily sewing together ever since. And yes, we did have to buy me a better machine so I could pass mine to him. It worked out great!!

Good job, i will keep that in mind. I have a new guy in my life and he made a quilt pattern 10 years ago, he does not sew, so I am doing it. He sat behind me yesterday reading while I sewed. How comforting.

You'll need to make sure he starts his own stash as well. No use using yours up.
