I do this too. I try to keep everyone in line, but sometimes they just beg to be made and so I move them to the front of the line. There are no rules except the ones you make up. You can re-write them any time you want.

I've not quilted very long but decided to whip up a small wall hanging of what ever catches my heart instead of dreaming of all these huge quilts I long to make. I'm sewing a star from a mag. that cured me of making a whole quilt. It's going to be gorgeous and it's only taking a couple of hours.

Not really. I have material for seven quilts and I'm looking at a pattern that I really would like to do first. I guess I'm off to the fabric store again. Jackie

I'm sure I'm not the only grandma who finds projects for herself always seem to be getting pushed to the bottom of the list!

My husband keeps saying it's time for a new bed quilt for us (the current one is 20 years old!). I have two which are partially pieced - oh well, "one day"!

You'll get a project completed quicker if you still have your initial enthusiasm for it when you begin. If that's the newest project you've added, so be it.

    Tell me about it
I bought a beautiful Chinese panel and decided to make a Chinese quilt, (top of list) but then my friend asked me to make a baby quilt for her so that went to top of list, then her friend wanted one two so that went to top of list,
Then I saw a beautiful red black and white quilt in a book and ordered the fabric that went to top of list,
Then my other friend asked me to do her some quilted cushions they went to top of list,
Then someone sent me samples of some fabulous floral fabric so I ordered that went to top of list
Then my son wanted a black and white quilt for his newly decorated bedroom that went to top of list,
Then because my son had a quilt my daughter wanted a pink one so that went to top of list.
And so on and so on …………….
Guess were my beautiful Chinese quilt is now no 14 at bottom of list. But at least I’m never board ha ha .

Whew! I was afraid to mention all the projects and fabric that has been waiting for at least 5 years. Glad to know I am in good company...
