I know what you mean. I think the parts are still there but they've shifted into some uncoordinated, unmanageable shape. Add some arthritis in there and dancing like we used to would probably put us in the hospital.

I think you are getting to like purple too.

I loved blue when I was younger but changed to a green person. Have not gotten tired of green and all the earth tones that go with it.
I made one blue quilt for my sister. I like blue but green is my favorite. I like purple but have not made a quilt with it yet.
Of course I collect all colors for my stash.

One of the BOM's that I belong to only uses dark, muted, dull colors---sort of Civil War era or Thimbleberry---which I like but after three years of them I'd like to do something a little more upbeat. Sometimes I just like BRIGHT in any color as long as it's bright.

DH and I built our home 4 1/2 years ago and I decorated with a completely different color scheme than I would have 10 years ago. I think that your tastes vary over the years, and I also think that colors cycle. So you may be blue over losing your love for blue right now...but it will probably come back around :)

Blue is my favorite color also. I have done a quilt that has earthtones and blue stars in it. I have it hanging in my living room. It looks great. So you can still incorporate the "Blue" in there too. :0)

Blue has always been my favorite color in any shade but I am drawn to color in general. Pastels and darks, fall colors and christmas colors it doesnt matter I just get sucked in...lol. I could spend hours in the shops just looking because if I could afford it I would bring some of all of them home.

    Newquilter, love your avatar.
One of my cats lays like that all the time. Even when he was tiny and we didn't have him yet, the breeder sent us a picture of him laying like that. Don' ya luv it?

As to the blue issue- I think that we all tend to gravitate to our favorite colors. But tastes change too. Sometimes its fun to get away from our comfort zone and try something different.

well it sounds like you need a color change for a while, I like all colors except orange, but I will use orange if what my mind sees calls for it. Penny
