If you count the quilts that you have purchased specific fabric for and haven't even started and other sewing projects - I have 140 - I've finished 17 since January. I counted and listed them and it inspired me to really work on these projects. I usually have at least 5 I'm actively working on - Right now I have everything cut and ready to start on one quilt, one that I need to quilt and bind, one that I'm doing the hand applique on and two block of the month quilts that are up-to-date.

What counts as a UFO? If it is anything begun but not yet finished I probably have a dozen or so, some I have completely abandoned because I lost interest and umph. I've just begun a kit that is a lot more complicated than it looks. I'd like to see it through, but a simple baby quilt sounds good about now. I love sounding like one of you , I love this board!!!

Gosh this sounds like me at least 20 plus not sure of all those I have never started yet, but have the pattern and fabric just waiting their turn! Yet I have really tried this year to work on finishing at least 1 or 2 a month...besides the ones that, you know those BOM I have started on already this year. Plus I decided this year I was going to try my hardest not to buy fabric or new patterns and let me tell you I have already have bought fabric!

I have 29. I make a new list at the beginning of each year, and check them off as I finish. I have finished 3 so far this year. Unfortunately, the list doesn't shrink much, because I always start even more new ones.
Last year, I started with 34 and finished 28. Sounds pretty good, right? Well, I ended the year with 31. I have a serious problem.

All of you are putting a smile on my face this morning. I love the comments about finishing some and then starting others so the procedure continues. My problem is that before I even go into the sewing room, I'm looking at fabric online and saying to myself, "oh that is gorgeous!" Then I find myself in my EQ5 program playing making something new.
