WooHooo!!! Congrats! You will soo enjoy that machine! Do make sure you take advantage of the lessons...they are fun and you will learn things that you had'nt thought to ask about. (well, I did anyway  )

As for telling DH...just carry that baby in the house, set it down whereever you want and if he ask why you bought it...just say because you wanted it! He buys stuff he wants doesn't he? Why can't you?

Just "matter of factly" mention the purchase and remind him of a typical male statement: "When you have the right tools any job goes better."

CONGRATULATIONS! I am So jealous...

When my DH makes the mistake of commenting on the number of sewing machines I have, I just sweetly remind him of the number of saws he has in the garage, and the drills, and the tool boxes, and all the other boys' toys. He's learning to think before he speaks.....

It's "used" but comes with the store warranty, and I believe it only has about 40 hours on it.

I have no idea how to embroider...I'm sure I'll get a tip here or there, right??

I'm so excited...now, any ideas how to tell hubby what I did??
Congrats on the new machine, how great is that. I am sure you could download a manual for your machine that would help you.

i believe it was Martha Pullen who said" It's easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission". I hope that you enjoy your machine very much. ME enthusiasts usually embroider anything that isn't moving!
