I love fabric. My problem isn't fabric stores as much as shopping on line!!! Just hope I am home when UPS gets here before my DH gets home. I do work. And he always likes what I make. He's the one that makes sure I show my projects off to everyone. He even gets down on the floor to move blocks around until they look right to both of us. But my bookcases are full, of fabric.

I have a rule, no shopping on line. I can LOOK, but unless there is a DIRE reason (ie, I am in the middle of a project, out of a fabric, unable to substitute and its no longer available locally, OR because the rules of a challenge require a fabric not available locally...)
I WILL NOT shop for fabric on line.
I MUST have limits. That is my limit. lol

    sandpat........

I just started (the online thing) and find it very addictive....got a catalog from Clotilde and ordered more than I needed but with the free shipping, I couldn't resist.

Only thing wrong with that order, I wanted a Christmas tree pattern and thought that I would wait until after the holiday rush...WRONG......they no longer have it. It was a wall hanging and it was very abstract ... really different. Will have to research it and see if I can find it elsewhere.

    Have a good day...MaryJane

Your right MJ....it is addictive! I don't live near any fabric stores, so only get to go "real fabric" shopping if we have time to make a Day trip of it. I order on line from a few select shops and then I order the name brands that I'm really comfortable with...So far....no disappointments! So, to stop myself, I just can't go to the web sites

See, for me, it is more a matter of control than worrying about the quality of materials.

My quilt store is 27 miles from me....there is one closer, (13 miles) if I need it... but I don't tend to go there...

After unearthing the amount of fabric I unearthed last night, well...

no online shopping (no other type either, LOL
    )

Pat.I just received 17 yards of fabric from the connecting Thread...couldn't resist the $2.96 per yard. It is really quite nice. I have the backings now for a few quilts, now have to decide where to start.

Swiffer Wet jets work, too...and not as messy as mops. (come to think of it, what ARE mops? Some relic from times past?) :-D
