Such a heartwarming story. Thanks for sharing!

My little grandson has latched onto one of the first quilts I ever made. It is a pinwheel pattern from the Moda Bakeshop. I used American Jane charmpacks and it is kind of girly, but Gabe loves it. It is his bedtime, naptime and hide-from-the-world quilt at Mamaw's house. If anyone has his "blankie", watch out, he will take it from you. LOL!!

This is such a sweet story. There is nothing any better than doing something that makes a child happy. I can almost visualize that little girl and her new doll wrapped up in that colorful quilt. She not only has a new blankie, but she has a new friend.
