ok I have owned 1 purse in my hole life and it lasted 1 day.
Yep it got stolen the first day so if it doesn't fit in my pocket then I don't need it. If you like purses that's ok with me but for me it's just excess baggage.

I love my Bow Tucks and I quilted mine. I put my cosmetics in it when going overnight, all the little slots are just great for holding things.

I'm a quilter and I like a little variety. No, we all don't like the same things, even in quilts. I don't believe quilter just make quilts.

I have made several for others and they have been very well received. My mom has begged me to make her a couple more in different colors. They aren't for me - too cute (and I am just not cute). :-D

LOL. I'm a bow tuck junkie. But its a good question. Its nice to do because they are easy and very easy to change how you want them.

I often wonder the same thing about the color pink. I really don't like it at all. But like you, I see other people and they like it. Its all a matter of taste and opinion.

I am sure you didn't offend anyone. We are here to share and admire. :D

it is something to make, especially for ones who have never branched out beyond quilting. it is exciting for them!

i have 1 purse..a black Coach,i use year round, i have had for to many years to count. i love it.
my secret sister made me a "miranda bag", and i love it too, i use it in the summer usually. i like being able to toss it in the washing machine.
anyone who can follow a pattern other than a quilt, impresses me! because i have had trouble trying to make a purse.

I think they are cute, cut maybe if they didn't have the bow I might use one.

I made one, got lots of compliments on it. I don't care for them because if the purse happens to fall over, everything falls out.
