    I loved both pieces when you first posted them and I love them still. They are gorgeous and it doesn't surprise me at all that you won. You REALLY are very talented and now, hopefully, you will believe that! Congratulations!

    Klue, I smiled when I read that because one of the comments that the judge wrote on the back of my entry tag was something like "nice work on the binding". When I read that I immediately thought of that thread here on the forum from a few days ago where we were discussing hand vs. machine binding and the comments in the thread about judges looking at the execution rather than the technique.

    It's all machine done. Hand sewing just doesn't appeal to me personally because of the time involved, although I really like to see it when others do it.
