Ha! I just took the paper thing off mine too. I didn't know it was suppose to come off and maybe that is why I never used it. It seemed so hard to use, lol. Boy, do I feel dumb now!!

Ha, that's a good one. I have been known to cook a turkey with the gizzard "stuff" still in the neck, plastic packaging included. No one told me that turkeys have an opening at both ends!

I refused to buy them - because I could not see through them. They are still hanging on the rack in the store, for all I know.

Started up again and could not get the machine to make a stitch. Tried for about 5 minutes straight then picked up the phone to call my dealer when I noticed the bobbin and bobbin case laying on the table by the phone. Thank goodness I noticed it before I got the call placed!

Hi, did you get to go the MQS? I kept looking for someone with two children, one hanging dearly to mom, but did not see anyone like that. However, upon leaving, in the parking lot I did see a lady with a toddler speaking with a man near a truck load of batting - could that have been you?
I didn'y make it till friday. but ohhhhh boy was it great. so much to see and do. I saw a young lady on crutches. by the quilts at one point. could that have been you?

That's funny, I had the same problem until I read your post. Removing the paper sure does help!

Sahm 2605, Nope, wasn't me. I went on Thursday. Throughly enjoyed myself. I told my DH that I wanted to go back today (Saturday) but they would be packing things up before I could get there. Friday evening I sat down and read the program and would have liked to go back to see what I didn't see while there. There were two people (Susan Loftin and Quiltin Bill)that I know, whom had quilts displayed which I missed noticing when I viewed the quilt display. I'll just have to try to read the program before I go into the exhibit hall next year.

they need to send the programs out before hand so that people can plan their trip there. hehe. like going to disney. you have to have a plan of action or you miss almost everything in the park.

Been there, done that with the microwave!! DH & I still laugh about it. I didn't realize it was such a big club we were members of! LOL

What brand ruler is it? My Creative Grids come wrapped in plastic, so there is no paper backing.
