So far none of my rulers have had a paper backing on them.
If any new ones do I will know now to remove it.
I'm with Patrice, the idiot is the person who came up with the idea in the first place.

I recommended a rotary cutter to a friend who offered to me after she bought it, she didn't like how hard it was to use. Well...if you unlock it, it works great. She kept it after I unlocked it for her. LOL

Well today was working on cutting some fabric and just happened to turn it over. there was a portion missing from one corner so I took a closer look. Well low and behold, the paper backing was peeling off. So I just peeled it the rest of the way. Which is what you were supposed to do after you bought the stupid thing. So lets just say that I am now feeling really foolish all these years. Good thing I have never purchased another square ruler that size. Anyone else do this too?   :XD:

That is just way too funny. I agree, I don't think I would had told that one either.

WE all learn. My brother one time brought the ham for a holiday dinner. It was nice and glazed and looked oh so pretty. Well when we cut into it he had forgotten to take that paper skin off that was on the rolled ham. We never let him live it down. So we've all been there at some time.

or the college girl who was so proud to cook a turkey dinner for her folks...her mom asked if she'd like her [mom] to spoon the stuffing out of the turkey into a serving bowl. DD said she hadn't stuffed it herself 'cuz it'd already been stuffed when she got it. Hmmm...turned out what she'd thought was stuffing was the bag of giblets!
