I have been sewing on a Brother with a supposed quarter inch foot for about a year and a half. The supposed quarter inch foot no matter what I did would not give an accurate seam allowance. Two weeks ago, while recovering from gallbladder surgery, I decided that enough was enough and took my little White quilter's machine to the Bernina repair shop to see if they could fix it. I only paid $200 for this machine and I was afraid that repair would cost more than the original machine price. It turns out that my White just needed cleaning and now I have my baby back. I need a nap since I'm still recovering from my surgery but I am ready to sew a storm again! Thanks for reading

It's so nice when it's not as bad as expected. Take your time, I've had the surgery too. Rest and protein is the best thing you can do to heal. Plenty of time to sew up a storm.
