I use a size 14 crochet hook to remove threads (that always gets underneath the white fabric and batting.) and to hide quilting threads. I was wondering if anyone has used this new tool? and is it smaller then the hook. Oh, if anyone remembers the hair highlighting kit from L'oreal, the hair pick that came with the kit is perfect for removing threads, it's smaller then the size 14 crochet hook.

I haven't, but I can see how it would come in handy. I still have my knit picker (anyone else remember those?

I haven't tried the new tool mentioned, but have a knit-picker. Useful for hiding threads.

I have a knit picker somewhere, forgot all about having one. I think the size 14 crochet hook is much smaller that the knit picker.

I find it interesting that quilters adapt and find something just as good to use.

I never would have thought about using a crochet hook!!! I can't crochet anymore, so it is nice to know they still have some other uses :D:D:D
