Hope the fabric is just the kind you like and that you love it. What a deal!

Yes, that is a lot of fabric. I shipped about 5 boxes of fabric to myself last time I was in the states. The boxes were 16x16x16 and it seems like a lot of fabric now that I'm here.

So, yes, ask what size those tubs are and plan accordingly.

And have fun. So glad you can inherit this and that they are willing to give it to you.

So spring break we are driving 2 days to Iowa to pick up fabric. Then we are going to make my Uncles grandkids a lap quilt with the fabric. I can't wait until MARCH.
So sorry for your loss - but such a wonderful treasure, and I am sure your Uncle's grandchildren will be so pleased with the quilts.

I'm sure your Uncle is happy to be passing on your Aunt's treasure to someone who will appreciate it and put it to good use. So sorry for your loss. Hope you have an enjoyable, safe trip.

So sorry for the loss of your Aunt...but glad that Uncle is sending her treasured stash to a good home.
Make sure you sort thru it before hauling it all back...you may be able to eliminate 1 or 2 tubs.

sorry for your loss, even though several years have passed since she died, but it still hurts and you still miss her. Well, now you will be ablr to remember your aunt by using her fabrics! It's nice tha tyou will be making her grandkids some quilts out of the fabric. You and your mom will have plenty of fabric for years to come.
Have fun on your trip to Iowa.

Heavy fabrics also make wonderful walker bags and wheel chair bags for PEOPLE. Go ask the people at your local nursing home, assisted living center or hospital. They need these things. They might have a pattern or directions.

Very good idea to make sure you take a vehicle large enough for it to fit into. Take as few people as you can, seats for them will take up a lot of space.
    Sorry for your loss.

They are going to go pick up 15 tubs of fabric, and you advise them to buy more on the way? Why? Do you think they might not get enough? Mwahahahahahahaha! (Sorry, I'm is a weird mood this morning.) I suppose they could buy more patterns, lord knows they might need them.
