OMG...I am so excited!!! Hubby surprised me a class with Sharon Schamber! :D

She's also having a trunk show. I can't wait. Have you seen her quilts? They are the most incredible works of art, I can't wait to see some in person.

    Check her quilts out:

She will be teaching in Olympia, WA at Bayside Quilting in June. I am taking the Piece-lique class, which is her curved piecing technique.

Here's the link, it would be fun to meet other QB'ers there:

I saw her last year's big prize winning quilt, it took my breath away. All her quilts are made to perfection. You know she won the $100,000 quilt award. Now that's winning!

She has been to several guilds in my area and she knows what she is talking about when it comes to quilting. She is super nice too.
    You will love her class!

I didn't know she won $100,000. My gosh, can you imagine? Which quilt is it?

I did read somewhere that her Flower of Life quilt, she estimated 1,000 hours of quilting in it. I am so excited to see some of her work. Is that the one?

What would you do if you won a $100,000 Quilting Challenge Magazine contest? Renowned quilter, Sharon Schamber, of Payson, AZ, has done just that with her quilt, “Scarlet Serenade.”
For the complete story about Sharon and her magnificent quilts, check out Quilting artist is tops in U.S. by Carol LaValley, in The Payson Roundup. Quilters who have heard about Sharon (and those who haven’t), will be intrigued by her quilting story.

I tried the link to get a more complete story Bellaboo and it just says Page not found. Thanks for trying though. I remember seeing the quilt on the Today Show.
