    The machine's oil drip pad should be replaced. being fiber it has picked up the smell from the case. You can find replacement pads online. As for the case - the best treatment I have found is to open it up and put it in a car for a few days to a week in the middle of summer when the temps are high.

    Thanks for all the great info. I will post a picture when I get Lydia all cleaned and smelling good.
