Thank you for the info. I am not currently looking at machines, but will want a straight stitch only when I am.

It's essentially just the same as the TL2010, Susie. It just has new packaging and comes with a whole set of feet (even a walking foot). I can hardly wait to test it out.

i have the 2010 which is identical to the 2200 Mini (except for cosmetic and a few accessories) and i love it! I thought when I bought it that I'd use it just for quilting but it's become my primary machine, pieces like a dream! Makes garment sewing so easy! The only thing I could maybe wish for is a presser foot that goes up a bit higher. Love my Juki!

That’s awesome Patrice, you deserve it...and new machines are so exciting. I hope you and your new Juki share many hours creating beautiful things.

Good to hear you're better, and what can make a girl feel even better than a new sewing machine! Enjoy, enjoy!

Congratulations cashs_mom, you just bought the most dependable, least aggravating machine available. I have the 2010 and LOVE it. Unlike the computerized machines we have become accustomed to, the Juki machines need to be oiled regularly. Take care of your beautiful new machine and you will soon understand why so many Juki TL series owners LOVE their machines soooooo much.

Patrice, yay! Happy for you! I get to hear golf talk over dinner nearly every day, and hey, it's better than politics. If your DH hears enough quilt talk maybe he'll get interested in making quilts. Actually, I've heard golf talk for 46+ years and that's not working for me.

I hope not! I'm not big on sharing my machines or my stash!

We live on a golf course and neither one of us has ever caught the golfing bug. Golfers do like to talk golf.
