On getting that screw out: I've used WD40 and Liquid Wrench and its been sitting for a week tomorrow! It still won't come out. So I think my next thing to do is the EZ Out tool. I will have to find one....its on my shopping list.
I have a working FW which I love using. I guess I have the FW bug now. I will have to order the book/CD that someone spoke of.

Neither did I heljoy! Don't even know why I had to have one so badly! They are just the cutest little things though and very light. I haven't gotten Lizzie up and running yet but I can't wait to sew with her. After joining this website vintage machine were a very big "must have for me". But I have always wanted a treadle machine and now I have two treaddle machines and a singer with the dome top. I love them all and have my sights set on a Singer 301 and I would love to get hold of a hand crank machine. Needles to say, my husband thinks I have lost my mind wanting old machines, but he is very supportive and will be helping me get Lizzie up and running.
