I love getting a squishy. My kids have to watch me open mine. They get a kick out of how excited I get.

Try using 8 1/2 inch squares and insulbrite for the inside. Walla..... Wonderful hot pads.....

Ok, I have to ask the obvious...how can this be a surprise? How do you get an address for a recipient without letting them know what you are up to?

    Thanks for any insight. :)

I love to send squishys and brighten someone's day. I just ask they "pay it forward" and just enjoy! (And paying it foward doesn't mean sending on a squishy, it could mean just saying you care about someone- just be nice to a fellow human is good enough for me)
Yes, I agree with Barb....she's one that will send something out to someone without them expecting it. Right? ;)

As to getting someone's address without the reciever knowing it....well? That's kinda tricky at times. There are some of us that have ALOT of addresses. I, for one, when I recieve a package, I TRY to keep the address of the person who sent it to me. I keep them in my address book. I have a section that is just for the message board people.

I would love to send out squishies, how much fun! I'll have to be kinda sneaky about addresses tho. I really like to cheer people up and make their day special.

That's me, I figure I will never be rich or famous or good looking, so I'll be kind to others. (Have to make up for my "when murder is legal" list I have in my head- that evil Barb makes me keep it)

I save addresses too. List name and then real name. Never know when you may need it.

P.S. I just remember what it was like when I was starting over after a divorce and small kids- I am forever grateful to my sister and girlfriend who stood by me and listened to me cry over poor decisions I made. But I picked myself up by the boot straps, kicked myself in the butt and said get over it and get on with your life. And so now I have it it comfy, not rich, but comfy enough where I can pass it forward. Learned not to be shy and depend on a man for your life's existence- stupid me- I was never meant to be June Cleaver, my idol. I am more like Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With the Wind.
