I saw a lovely antique treadle singer in cabinet in Good Samaritan Industries charity shop on Friday, but it was $A150, so a little expensive for my purse - the cabinet was lovely too, without drawers - I can't stop thinking about it but it would be a luxury I'm afraid :cry: With many power cuts in recent years I tried to find one or a wind up handle type but didn't have any luck way back when I might have been able to buy one
