FREE  I am giving Patchwork Classes at a local Church hall and one of the Ladies, recently bereaved, comes along for a cuppa, chat and company. She took down from her loft her Bernina 807 minimatic sewing machine and promptly gave it to me and wouldn't take anything for it, I couldn't believe it.

It's a lovely machine, in perfect working order and it's condition is fab, it obviously hadn't had a lot of heavy usage although it has been serviced, by a local chap who I know well and does a 1st class job on anything he does.

I have another younger member who wants to learn how to sew so she can make curtains etc; for her and her partners new home but has never used a sewing machien and didn't own one, so I promptly gave her my old FRISTER-ROSSMANN CUB-3 which she was amazed at, and offered to give me something for it, I said NO WAY I have been given a machine free so it is only fair that I give one away free.

She had her very first go on a sewing machine today and within 30 minutes was sewing a nice 1/4" seam making a D9P, which I cut for her.

What a brilliant and rewarding day

You are very lucky. So lovely of you to do the same for someone else. May God bless you and your friend.
