    I quit backstitching and now when I do "other" sewing I always forget to do it! I do use a shorter stitch when quilting though. It keeps it from coming out so easy.

    Didn't care for the "thickness" caused by back-stitching, so haven't done it since reading it wasn't necessary. So far all is holding up well...knock on wood!
