It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Try starting with an easy pattern to pp. One with big shapes but wonky angles. My first pp quilt was a wall hanging that I'm going to use as my avatar as soon as I figure out how to do it, but it was veggies and some of them were tiny!! not what I recommend for your first pp

    Happy Stitching!
That is pretty much how I do mine too.

I keep the paper on the match any seams I need to, then I remove it.

    Me too :)

I ;eave the paper on till I have the sahings sewn on. I don't like the bias edges stretching. With that said, I think you should try it several different ways to see which way works best for you.

I usually wait until after joining the sections. On one of my latest, after joining the sections, I removed just the seam allowance paper before pressing the seams open.

Then after all was together, I removed the paper from the body of the block.

    Worked for me.

Depends on what your paper piecing, I'm doing the Glacier Star "Judy Neimeyer" and it tells you to either leave them on for curved piecing or remove certain sections etc.....
