    you can do that...but i would think it will be awfully difficult to stitch through...and may gum up the needle alot..i'd try a little (pot-holder) first and see how it goes before doing something like that to a whole quilt

    In the long run, it takes so little of the basting spray, why would anyone want to mix with water, put in spray bottle and probably gum up your machine? Then you have the clean up, If you can do it yourself. I would think twice before I would use any that isn't specifically for fabric!!
