If you look closely at the block bottom left in the picture the stripes don't line up exactly so I think it is made like court house step in one round. Looks very easy.

Second question/request. What does a 9 degree ruler look like? I'm supposed to take a class next week and I have looked many places for this ruler but to no avail. I thought that maybe if I knew what it looked like I would be more successful. Thanks

I googled "one lump or two quilt pattern" and got several links the first time. Are you adding 'quilt pattern" or quilt block when you google?

I really appreciated that. By the way, it was a quick, fun quilt to make. I hope you will enjoy making it was much as I did.
I would think you could call your quilt anything you want.

I'd think you could call it "Handsome grandson's favorite quilt" if you wanted to, without asking MSQC. By the time you finish it, it is your quilt. It is only the original pattern that was theirs.

When I read your request, I immediately thought of a beautiful Christmas tree skirt which was posted on here. When I read the thread though, I realized it was a 10 degree, not 9 degree wedge. Thought you might enjoy it anyways. The thread also recommends Phillips Fiber Art for purchasing it.
