What is the best part (besides the shop)?
The scenery is BEAUTIFUL here, the people are very friendly, the prices aren't too bad for a tourist area, the cabin is wonderfully comfortable and it's pretty easy to find your way around.

Anyone is welcome to ride with me too, but they know up front I have my own schedule, that's why I'm driving myself. I'll tell DH I'll meet you there and don't have to put up with his gotta get there as fast as possible and be back as soon as possible. We go about everywhere together in separate vehicles.

I am so envious. Send us some pics when you get home. I would love to see what you bought.

I had a friend that used to ride with me to BOM's and that's what I told her. One day she said, "I have to go straight home today, my husband invited his son and family over today." I turned the car around right then and took her home.
Did she speak to you after that? LOL

Of course, but not for awhile. That was okay, when I quit letting her use me she quit associating with me. BUT, now my rulers don't elope with my quilting books and fabric doesn't come up missing. Some friendships just aren't worth the effort.

Oh, purplemem, plan a trip. Get up really early and go. Plan to spend the night if possible then you'll have more time to shop.
I've already started planning another trip next year.

Not only do your quirky pictures and off the wall sense of humor keep me laughing on even my blackest days, but without you I'd never known about Marshall's and Pinewood Cabins. Keep the pix and the info coming. We're going to Blanchard Caverns and JoJo's Wharf restaurant tomorrow, going to go see Bandit here in a few minutes. (All other things you've told me about) We bought some treats for Bandit too.
