One of my DD's does not like the whole "Santa" thing. Says parents lie to their kids. I always say we never said there was an actual person, it was people doing special things, sometimes without revealing their true identity.

You've proven that Santa is alive and well - even though it seems you know your Santa's true identity, lol!

What a great Santa. Thank you for sharing a lovely story.

The best part of that gift is knowing your DH supports your sewing passion beyond words. He obviously recognizes your value. Congratulations and have fun getting acquainted with your new machine.

Thank you for all the nice comments. I just read your responses to him and you should have seen him blush. Yes he is a keeper that I found 7 1/2 years ago. I'm going to make him a John Deere quilt in 2011 when I learn how to use the 7700 Horizon. Thank goodness it has a DVD with it. Happy New Year to all of you.

He had picked out a Janome 1077 Horizon of all things. Yes I believe in Santa even if I'm a grandmother now. (And I love my Santa dearly.)
    Congratulation's!!! Enjoy!!
