Everywhere I go, I am looking for quilts and quilters. Always keep an eye and ear open. Remember the commercial where you are looking at a scenery and then a person steps out that blended in??? I picture me hiding in quilts and watching peoples reactions to them and stepping out like I was part of the beautiful patterns. At least I don't hear voices. LOL

Love this thread, and I agree, I see patterns every where, the fact that I am a painter and often work in abstract designs does not help any!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, my name is Linette and I am a fabricholic. It all started when my friend took a quilting class and showed me her Yellow Brick Road. Then it happened! I felt the fabric and BAM!!

So we r on vaca at sis house. She is a scrapbooker ( dif addiction same results lol), and all the paper she was showing us I kept saying ooooo that would be greak fabric!

Or I look at a corn field and think ooooo what a nice print! How can I copy it!

    LOL

Sorry there is no cure for that. One big problem that goes with it you never seem to be able to produce the exact designs and colors you see.Like looking at a mountainside of big trees ,in full color, during the fall season. Can never get the right blend of the colors.

How about a metal "quilt"? Cut squares, rivet together and boarder with picture frame molding. It could work!
